Cooke Aquaculture Scotland is one of the leading producers of Scottish salmon, and the largest producer of organic Scottish salmon.
Part of the Cooke family of companies since 2014, Cooke Aquaculture Scotland is a vertically-integrated producer headquartered in Glasgow and with Atlantic salmon farming operations in Orkney, Shetland, mainland Scotland and the north of England.
Our seawater salmon farms are located in Orkney and Shetland, the most northernly part of the United Kingdom. The strong tidal waters surrounding the islands make them the perfect place to rear the world’s finest salmon, with one of the lowest carbon footprints of any farmed livestock.

As well as developing new seawater sites, in 2019 we made the decision to take more control over our feed and established our own in-house feed division – Northeast Nutrition Scotland.
Located at Invergordon Feed Mill in the Scottish Highlands it is already one of Scotland’s largest fish feed manufacturers. We are constantly researching and developing our feed to meet the nutritional needs of our fish and ensure that our salmon stay healthy, grow efficiently and thrive in the marine environment.
