Northeast Nutrition Scotland was established in 2019 and operates Invergordon Feed Mill in the Scottish Highlands – with a production capacity of 100,000 tonnes per annum it is one of Scotland’s largest fish feed manufacturers.
Northeast Nutrition Scotland supplies quality feed to Cooke Aquaculture Scotland’s Atlantic salmon farms in Orkney and Shetland, and is developing new supply chain opportunities within the UK and global aquaculture sector.

Northeast Nutrition Scotland’s mission is to develop nutritionally-balanced feed that enables farm-raised fish to stay healthy, grow efficiently and thrive in the marine environment.
Northeast Nutrition Scotland holds Label Rouge and Soil Association Organic accreditations, and has full flexibility to produce feed for seawater and freshwater sites across its three production lines. We also hold Veterinary Medicines Directorate licence to manufacture medicated feed to veterinarian prescription.

The company utilises Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) sustainably-sourced fishery products which carry the MSC’s iconic blue tick, signalling that they come from healthy, sustainable fisheries that are recognised as some of the best managed in the world.
